I love this movie so much. I already liked Gary Oldman in a few things, but this made me a fan, I also had no idea who Tim Roth was, but I’ve been following his career since. XD

It’s a wonderful way of showing that both of them are bound to fate. Their fate, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, was written up to their fatal end in Shakespeare’s *Hamlet*. As such, in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, the viewers follow their tale up to, through, and around Hamlet’s plot.
This is him identifying causation, that there are moments of cause and effect, and that he, in this case, was a prime mover — causing the effect. However, when trying to show it off, it entirely defies the rules and breaks.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern cannot *cause* a change to alter their fates. They are bound to be aboard the ship heading to England by the end of Hamlet.

I dont know where I heard this but I thought it was funny: Once some guy on a trip to Sweden went to a hotel room and in the morning he went to take a crap, but the toilet wouldn’t flush. He tried many times but it just didn’t do anything. He noticed a cleaning lady in the hallway so he tried to tell her the toilet isn’t flushing. But she didn’t understand and he could barely speak Swedish, so he invited the woman in the room with him and showed the toilet and said “titta” and flushed the toilet, and it worked perfectly fine.

This is like when I show my best friend something I am truly passionate about that he doesn’t understand, but is still my friend anyway.

Shifting your weight on a leather couch in such a way that it sounds like you just farted. Then when they’re watching you try to prove it was the couch and not you, it never ever works
