A jade burial suit is a ceremonial suit made of pieces of jade in which royal members of China’s Han dynasty were buried. The top one for example belongs to the king Liu Wu (died in 144 BCE), and was made from more than 4,000 pieces of jade linked together with gold wire [1920×2372]

    1. The jade burial suit in the bottom picture belonged to the king Liu Sui (died in 40 BCE), and was made of 2,008 pieces of jade, also linked together with gold wire.

    2. I’m not trying to be sarcastic about the artifacts, but the tightly woven square jade stones remind me of a electric blanket with jade shads in Korea.😂 (Yes, I am Korean)
