    1. George Washington: “It is of the utmost importance that we do not adopt a two party political system.”
      *Ten minutes later*
“Alright so everyone on that side of the room can be a democrat and everyone on this side of the room can be a republican.”

I guess vardhamana mahavira followers did what he told them unlike buddha followers ( although concept of God was completely different then Abrahamic one and this was very over simple why saying ” i am not god ” )

Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestant. Sunni and Shia. This just keeps happening, doesn’t it?

    5. The flaw of early Buddhism was that while the Buddha was alived, any theological dispute would be up to him to resolve so there was no need for record keeping or wrote down anything he said. However, once the Buddha passed away, his disciples now faced with the challenge of actually need to interpret his teaching themselves. It kinda like what happened to Bismarck: both created a system where they were the center of the power structure and the system fell apart when they were no longer at that center and no one could take their places.

    6. Idk, in his last moments Buddha was suffering from a massive stomach pain, caused by an extravagant dish (Sukaramaddava) offered from one of his devotees. So his last teaching could have been “Prepare for your worst tummy ache, disciples!”.

      >Being Chinese

      >Three major religions are Buddhism, Confucianism, and Daoism.

      >Buddhism was founded by a person who specifically said he was no god.

      >Confucianism was founded by two guys who were basically ancient college professors and had nothing to do with religious believe.

      >Daoism has the most rigid deity hierarchy and their most important god was a person whose entire personality is to against any sort of social hierarchy and religious believe. Their second most important god was a politician, whom you may guessed it, had nothing to do with any sort of religious believe.

    8. The story of every religion and philosophy in existence, doesn’t mater how clearly you set out the rules, or how noble the principles are, bad actors will find a way to twist them to their own benefit, and others will follow along, because humans are fundamentally just semi-evolved apes.

    9. Did Abraham, Jesus and Muhammad all kinda say something like this? This also happened in all those religions
