Odds are either it’s database wasn’t up to date or it was given some reason to believe the road is closed
Some rental car companies limit the roads you can drive on due to dangerous terrain or roads. Wonder if they’ve chosen to restrict the GPS access to keep their cars on the safer roads.
Use android auto/apple car play. Who uses the native nav systems?
