Get a body cam or action cam and wear it on you (head, chest, shoulder, holding it risks getting it stolen by the government) and record everything.
We cannot rely on due process or investigations, they will lie, mis-remember and write a narrative that is always in their favor.
What we the people must do is document the evidence ourselves.

A tangentially related question… has everyone in the Trump admin moved on to military bases to protect themselves from the public? I know ~~Goebbles~~ Miller did, but is the same true for the rest of the Nazi regime? I would think if the likes of Noem were living amongst civilians she wouldn’t be able to leave her residence without thousands of people observing and protesting.

Kyle Rittenhouse didn’t show up to peaceably protest, he crossed state lines and brought a gun to a democratic so he could kill people. That was his entire intent.

The hypocrisy is deafening especially after you consider that Rittenhouse showed up with the intention to do harm to others. So if right wingers are willing to defend a similar but more malicious scenario then they have no reason to say Alex deserved what he got or should’ve known better. Maybe my bias is showing but Alex did not seem to have malicious intent in mind. I can relate to his potential line of thinking where having a weapon might deter federal goons from using theirs.
