I’d like to see things like this presented *as worn*, as well. Put it on a guys head. You’d have to make a replica, I’m sure – but trim it out with whatever edging, lining, harness that it would have had and put it one someone.
I’m guessing that it rode low enough that those are eye-holes/cut-outs. I’m guessing the edges would have been wrapped.
