I had a family member with late-stage dementia with delusional thinking and there is a fucking REASON we had them in a home, there’s a reason they ended up in an old-folks dementia ward where everyone else is as bat-shit befuckled a the next.
But the nurses are paid hazard pay. Children and guardians sometimes have to wear protective gear and your parents are a danger to themselves and others around them.
We just get to play it like he’s normal, and he’s not a massive problem.
Put him in a suit, where his near constant defecation , or shitting himself whenever someone pisses him off is the least bad thing in everyone else’s day and here we are.
Of course the consolation prize is a defective sock-puppet who’s whole career is psychologically mirroring the worst impulse in the room and was being the always receptive boy-toy for a near trillionaire white-supremacist who runs the surveillance apparatus controlling large aspects of our society, every day for years or a Russian KGB clown who’s viscerally upset that the United States can’t be his friend and his worst enemy at the same time because he’s terrified of a drone swarm hunting him down like some low-rent terminator movie.
