There are a few subs where horrible, abusive parents and grandparents bitch continuously that there adult children have ghosted them. The more they say, the move obvious it is why any relative with agency would wish to avoid them. This has that energy.

Couples in their late 20s and early 30s all over the country are taking one look at the cost of housing, health care and education for a kid over the next two decades and deciding to skip being a parent.
Boomers spent the past 50 years voting for trickle-down economics instead of social safety nets, and now they don’t have grandchildren.
