      When I was 10 I remember how we’d try to be the first to touch the door handle on the car so we could call “Shotgun,” and get the front seat. If you got pushed and your hand came off the handle you couldn’t call it anymore. It was a dumb game for dumb kids, that apparently the underlying theory behind Trumps Greenland plan.

      I’m just going to point out something that baffles me about this that I haven’t seen anyone else mention yet. Denmark controls Greenland. Why is he whining about Greenland to the Prime Minister of Norway? Last time I checked, Norway doesn’t control Denmark.

      So first he’s berating the Prime Minister of Norway for not giving him the Nobel Peace Prize (which is not in his power), then tells him that _Denmark_ can’t defend Greenland from Russia or China (which they don’t need to, because NATO exists), then questions why _Norway_ even gets to claim ownership of Greenland (which they don’t, Denmark does). He then goes on to claim there is no paperwork documenting Denmark’s claim to Greenland (even though there is a documented deal with _The United States_ of all nations) and ends in claiming he’s done more for NATO than anyone ever (even though he’s done nothing but threaten to leave it). Did I miss anything?

      Is the Norwegian Government responsible for the Nobel prize? By this logic could Russia now claim Alaska because the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences didn’t give Putin an Oscar?

      To all Americans, this shouldn’t be just a facepalm post. Talk to your representative.

      As an Australian, your country and President is on the nose. And this will start having a big effect.

      If this was how Albo (Anthony Albanese our PM) acted, he would be made to resign. Career suicide. The fact that not just Trump but others support him makes no sense to us.

      You have multiple branches of governments that support him. Either by actively supporting him. Or not speaking out.

      It’s not a facepalm.

      This is serious. The USA reputation is being damaged on a global stage.
