I have trouble caring about AI. At all. It feels like old people yelling at clouds. I think people have a frustration that it’s harder to tell what’s real and what’s fake as if everything hasn’t been heavily altered for the last two decades to begin with.
People that use AI unethically are people that were always going to handle things in life unethically.

I’m tired of being an object to be manipulated by literal sociopaths.
They convinced us that leaders are SUPPOSED to be emotionally apathetic to everyone beneath them so they could act “rationally”, while simultaneously convincing us that greed is purely rational and not emotional at all.
Sick and h*ckin’ tired of infinite wealth being the “logical thing” to pursue, and not just a blatant expression of addiction.
Saying everyone should want to be rich is like saying everyone should want to be a heroin addict. If wealth led to the good life these richos would act like it. How many miserable millionaire and billionaires do we gotta put up with before we accept that more money doesn’t just magically make your life better.
We evolved for millions of years to live in tribal systems. The meaning of life is the friends we made along the way. I’m sorry that’s boring, but literally destroying the world isn’t going to ever provide us with a ‘better’ meaning to life than that.
