I usually spend VERY little the weekend i get paid, by next weekend a lot of the excitement has worn off so u dont feel the need to spend on anything unless I REALLY want it. Bills and groceries still come first of course. Meanwhile my friends and coworkers are blowing most of their money in 2 or 3 days and not even paying debts 🙄

I typically immediately pay all my bills and then transfer the remaining balance (if there is any) into a high yield savings. At any given time I only have $100-200 in my checking.

Being paid biweekly doesn’t even phase me. Sometimes so much I forget to put time cards I. For a whole month and still am ok just suddenly freaked out a little that I forgot. You gotta manage better.

The american mind cannot fathom that getting paid double the amount but therefore only biweekly is exactly the same as getting paid your normal salary but weekly.
That and the fact that most of the world has monthly paydays.
