    1. And humans are closely related to starfish and sea squirts than to squids or butterflies…

    2. It seems to me to be nothing more than an opinion, and as Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) said in the 1988 film The Dead Pool: “Opinions are like assholes; everybody has one.”

    3. So what you’re saying is, some people aren’t mean, they’re just biologically committed to their roots.

I still find it fascinating that nature came up with two blueprints to build animals, the ones that are soft inside and hard outside, and the ones that are hard inside and soft outside. Almost the entire animal kingdom splits into these two branches, yet they share one thing: they start from a hollow ball of a couple of cells that need to form a tube which allows them to get food into the body and poo it out. This tube forms from a couple of the cells diving into the hollow inside, forming a growing tunnel that merges on the opposite side. You can do that in only two ways; either the future mouth starts diving into the hollow ball, or the future ass. It’s these two options that split the animals into protostomia (protos stoma, first mouth) and deuterostomia (“devtero” Greek for second. The mouth forms second, the ass first), the ones that are soft inside and hard outside, and the hard inside soft outside

A quote from OG road house movie ” you were born an asshole and just grew bigger”

deuterostome just means 2 mouths, which as a meat tube, we all are. Not sure where they’re getting that it means the downstairs mouth forms first.

    7. It says “before any other opening.” Not “first there’s just an anus and then the rest of the human grows out of it”.

    8. So we all start out as assholes. Some of us evolve out of it and others stay the same assholes their whole lives.
