**This is how Hitler rose, how the modern U.S. is entirely different, and why “fighting fire with fire” backfires:**
Hitler became chancellor after a decade of authoritarian escalation between multiple German factions warring politically.
People like to claim Nazi’s rose because “people did nothing”, but that’s not accurate.
Left and right spent years trying to beat eachother into submission politically through law breaking and eroding norms.
This cycle of escalation was baited by design of the scheme. By 1933, the system was so weak that Hitler didn’t have to do a whole lot to consolidate total power under himself in just four years.
After the Reichstag Fire (false-flag attack), Hitler was able to use authoritarian powers that were already available to him via German law (he didn’t have to invent them) in order to suspend civil liberties, conduct mass arrests, and suppress poltical opposition.
Those powers were meant to be temporary, but of course they became permanent, and eventually using the leverage he gained through them, he was able to pass the Enabling Act which allowed him to rule by decree. That move cemented the dictatorship.
**Tldr: Hitler didn’t seize power by force against a functioning democracy. He utilized and abused existing powers to finish off a democratic system that had been hollowed out over years of political war/authoritarian escalation. The Weimar was in a much weaker state than ours is at the time he was able to establish the dictatorship.**
The U.S. is different because the institutions the German’s dismantled still exist.
Courts routinely rule against Trump.
(albeit they work slowly)
States are decentralized and run elections independently.
The military is not loyal to just one person who can rule by decree.
Opposition still wins in elections, and heavily so.
And perhaps most importantly, Trump has already left office once and is limited on terms. That is something that Hitler, nor other dictators like Maduro ever did.
Its important to note that modern fascists/authoritarians generally don’t take over in one swift coup (as was the case in traditional fascist rises) but over multiple administrations, eroding and capturing democratic institutions over time.
The modern strategy heavily relies on mass demoralization to suppress dissent, and heavily leans on not only utilizing accelerationists and violence themselves, but on engineering all sides into doing the same.
They want you to give up on democracy and the systems that keep their power in check, because THAT is your only way to stop them. Bonus points if they can bait you into helping them destroy the system with them.
So please understand, the key to defeating this is the opposite of endorsing the same game and trying to compete with law breaking, cruelty, or violence. Thats what they want. Spreading fear, misinformation, and hysteria works to help them destabilize the system.
Preservation is in essence, about responsibility.

So funny thing about this we actually have something in our constitution for this exact thing. Sadly it was used too much to kill kids and harm innocent people so it’s much harder to express this amendment but the idea is still there

Yeah but didn’t you know that saying anything threatening towards Hitler was a crime? Surely you wouldn’t suggest breaking the law?!?! /s

This meme is defeatist BS that is generated to make people give up and not vote. Republicans have been destroyed in every special election since the pedophile took office. The states control the elections. If the margins remain they lose minimum the house and possibly the senate. Also if things go violent sideways well the US crashes into the curb without its economic engine and half of its power evaporates. Violence at this point is what the idiots want. Ridicule is what they deserve.
Vote in 2026 like the world depends on it.

Too many people are still too comfortable. But it’s getting closer to this point.

They and their families voted to keep Nazis the fuck out of America IN ADDITION TO fighting to drive them out of Europe.
Stop fucking devaluing votes. It takes an afternoon to do and if voting didn’t matter then the Nazis wouldn’t be trying so hard to keep us from doing it.
Perfect is the enemy of good.
