You can hear the 1999 soundtrack play 🎶 my husband was my longtime crush in HS. Almost never happened. Senior year of HS – we go to prom with different people – friends – make out at the after party and reconnect in the summer of 2000 after we graduated. Had a fling…. Went off away to college and lived on… Reconnected (on My Space) in 2008 ➡️ married in 2011 ➡️ now have two kids and a great life. Fell off a tree and hit every branch on the way down and still making it work ♥️

Of course it started at a messy high school party and somehow turned into a whole marriage with kids. That’s the most late 90s love story imaginable.
You guys were like north and south ends of different magnets. No matter how far you moved apart, you kept getting pulled back together. Congratulations on what seems to be a wonderful life. Plus you were both so cute! (And I’ll bet you still are despite your hitting every branch falling outof the ugly tree reference!)
MySpace seems like a lifetime ago
This feels like the kind of love story people don’t believe actually lasts.
High school chaos turning into lifelong commitment is kind of beautiful.

That’s the look of two people who had no idea what was coming next.
Love this! My wife was my #1 high school era crush. We started dating when I was 37.

That word bums me out unless it’s between the words _meat_ and _pizza_.
I love this!
Had my wife and I met in high school, we would have HATED each other. I was popular, dated around, partied, experimented with drugs, I found the schoolwork easy and didn’t care about it so barely passed.
My wife was not popular, goes to church each Sunday, never had a drop of alcohol or smoked a cigarette, and def never tried any drugs. Goody two shoes in classes etc.. I was her first.
I’m glad we met when we did. I brought her out of her shell, she mellowed me out in all the right ways.
12 years later, two beautiful daughters, great home and careers, I love my wife and family more than anything you can imagine.
How’s his skin today?
