      Why do people keep acting like they weren’t aware that invading Russia in winter would be suicide? There are about six trillion factors at play here, and exactly none of them are invading Russia in winter.

      As funny as it is, the reality of the campaign on russia is that it lasted two years and had to fight against scorched earth tactics that made any victories the Germans had practically worthless. By the time they reached Stalingrad they were low on ammo, they were low on men, and they were cornered with nowhere to run.

      Now if only Japan didn’t sign a peace agreement with Russia and Italy actually did shit right…
