Archaeologists in Yemen assume it was used as a representation symbol of Himyar, and was used on flags/war banners of some sort. Today this symbol is found on alabaster, iron, Grannet, stone tablets as well as the bottom and top of pillars within temples and the pillars that were depicted on stones as drawings. The same symbol is found on the clothing of gods/kings of Himyar that were found chiselled on stones. Enjoy!!

    1. That is fascinating. It reminds me of the Iranian Derafsh Kaviani. The flower looks similar but not what surrounds it
