I noticed this little flower growing out of a crack between bricks on a sidewalk outside of a Mexican restaurant. . No soil and limited space. Definitely not ideal conditions.
It didn’t wait for things to get easier or for someone to move it somewhere better. It just kept growing anyway.
Seeing it made me think about how often we wait for the right moment before we try. Sometimes progress looks like showing up where you are and doing the best you can with what you have. I saved this picture to remind me of this story when I don’t feel like I’m where I need to be.
