Ok but as someone who used tampons both before and after becoming sexually active, there was a marked difference.
I don’t feel like we talk about that enough–or maybe just no one talked to me about it when I was a teenager.

Ah, the era when the cashiers would pack these into a paper bag of their own before putting it with the rest of the groceries – in my region at least. They were still seen as something of a taboo. Thank goodness that changed by the time I got my period.
