Side note: As someone in the hospitality industry who’s worked solo shifts during height of Covid, good. During the pandemic, they were AGGRESSIVE anti-maskers, just as much as TikTok made you believe. From my experience, they LOOOOOVVVE to pick fights and act like the whole world revolves around them.
One of the properties I work for had a major GOP event a few months ago, and while there were a handful of very nice people (one of which was the sweetest lady who made my day), a good amount of them were some of the rudest, most disrespectful guests I’ve ever dealt with over the phone, even more so than the cheer groups we hear horror stories about.
Instead of wanting reasonable solutions to their problems, they want to know who to blame for them. Instead of accepting a “no” and/or asking to speak to the appropriate person if they can make an exception, they shoot the messenger. Not all MAGAts are Karens, but pretty much every Karen I’ve dealt with in my career was a MAGAt.

Wait, I think an Uno reverse card has been played. Hilton, as a parent company, has reprimanded the Hilton affiliate and has “corrected this behavior so that it doesn’t happen again in the future” – which means, the Right isn’t boycotting them anymore but the Left is boycotting them now.

if I know folks like this won’t be at a place, I tend to go to that place for services I want or need. If I have a guarantee from them they won’t be there, well… I’ll take it.
Now Hilton has the maga idiots boycotting from the initial story and the people who actually love America with their follow up disenfranchising the hotels that refused 🧊
