But a handful of children of Venezulans in Florida who fled after they lost their slaves and land holds after the revolution are happy. They represent all of Venezula…

Happy new year, right! They couldn’t wait for the holidays to be over to distract from the Epstein files.

    3. Ok, US media may not be portraying things accurately, but why should we accept this 3% number as legitimate instead?

    4. This image is just as misleading. I’m not defending what happened in Venezuela. I am against the USA getting involved in another quagmire overseas. But the narrative being spread by the media is that Venezuelans are happy that the USA removed Maduro. That isn’t what the image is addressing. Propaganda is propaganda no matter what side you are on.

    5. “Mint Press News” is a conspiracy site formally affiliated with Russian state media. They are known for their false information, attacks against journalists who disprove them, antisemitism, and denial of war crimes committed by Russia, Ba’athist Syria, and others.

Their writers are known for, among other things, 9/11 “truther”-ism, labeling the Charlie Hebdo shooting as a false flag, claiming Human Rights Watch isn’t “real,” and spray painting swastikas to discredit the Ukrainian government.

I would say you can trust this post about as much as you can trust Steven Miller.

Edit: And as a final nail in the coffin, the Twitter user has a premium Twitter account. Very proud defender of socialism, apparently.

What they support is Maduro being gone…not the U.S. bombing them to do it!! How ANYONE believed a word that came out of that press conference is beyond me!!

So your source that the mainstream media is lying…is a pro-Russian, conspiratorial website that is known for posting misinformation?

Does anybody else see the problem here?

    8. Um… no shit.

      I don’t like Trump

If Russia rolled in and kidnapped him I wouldn’t be celebrating.

Fuck so many people here are gullible. That “news” site is propaganda and lies all the time. Trump sucks, and will exploit their oil. Maduro is a fucking monster who regularly had his national guard kill torture and rape protestors. It’s good he’s gone. Two things can be true.

People need to realize: Moduro is a despot dictator & the united states shouldn’t have attacked Venezuela and kidnapped him, are not mutually exclusive.

If you’re on the left, I hope you learn to be better than posting unverified information like those magats do…

Idk if i were Venezuelan I honestly wouldn’t know how to feel. On one hand, Maduro was a dictator, on the other hand… govt leaders have openly declared their desire to “take back” their oil (from…?). And anyone with an ounce of knowledge from even the very recent past knows how well that tends to go for anyone involved. Unless you’re a war profiteer- then it’s great.

What percent of Venezuelan wealth do you think that 3% accounts for in a country where 90% live in poverty?

    14. jaybird-jazzhands on

The issue isn’t about whether Venezuelans wanted intervention. It’s the fact that Trump did it illegally with no authority and that sets a scary and horrifying precedent for the future.

    15. 2 things are true at the same time. Venezuelans can be happy he’s out of power and unhappy the US isn’t allowing them to run thier own country.

    16. yorcharturoqro on

I think plenty of Venezuelan people agree in taking Maduro to prision, but the USA left the entire Chavismo in control still, so there is no change in Venezuela
