One of my classmates died in highschool but occasionally I’d go back to the street view of the city park and we were all sitting around the corner benches when the car drove by, so we stood up and waved. I think they redid it a few years ago, but it was a great way to memorialize that day for a while.

is so awesome to see stuff like this. streetview also caught my dog that passed away, playing in the yard. I didn’t find it till 3 years after she passed. it was a pleasant surprise

I love this! My only family member captured on google maps was a cousin attacking a car with a hammer.

I use to use Google maps to see my grandma in her front yard and then they updated it 🙁
We should all be so lucky to have such a moment of our loved ones, captured as a memory to look back on.
My house had the ex’s car in the driveway far too long after the breakup.
Down load it just in case it disappears.

I grew up in a country town in Australia and the street view shows my house before it burnt down 13 years ago. satellite is much newer, however.
