Don’t judge the look. Trust the engineering these aren’t training wheels

This is a neat idea for those who have trouble holding a bike steady on one leg while stationary.

      1. I mean, it works.
      2. What is the necessity of a huge motorcycle with extra accommodation vs using a normal scooter

They kind of are training wheels though. Training wheels really help at low speed, and a standard bike will stay upright while pedaled just like a running motorcycle

I don’t know anything about motorcycles so maybe this is nothing, but I worry that if you need those wheels you’re not going to be able to control the vehicle in the way that you need to in accident avoidance situations. I know bikes can be big and unwieldy. Is she able to control it as well as a larger person? Would it be safer for her to ride a machine that isn’t so much bigger than her?

The motorcycle fanatic in me is screaming no but I love that she is able to pick the bike she wants and the leg swing is adorable

What happens if she has to unexpectedly stop fast? The wheels clearly take 1.5-2 seconds to deploy.

Riding a motorcycle doesn’t have great odds for avoiding tipping as it is, but riding one where you can’t get your feet down to keep it from tipping seems like an accident waiting to happen.

    7. One day one of those wheels won’t deploy and she’ll fall into the path of another vehicle.
