Man heard that someone had been chased by the police down the road, so he checked the door cam to see if it was caught on there. Turns out his cat watched it unfold live

Random but this video shows how Police always escalate a situation to a weird, anxiety-inducing level. All that shouting and cursing was wholly unnecessary. Just catch the guy.

American police are rather foul mouthed aren’t they!

Why do you have a cat level camera? My back hates to think where your doorbell is at.
EVERYBODY GET ON THE GROUNDS HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!!

*Frantic, out of breath, scrambling for escape, he darts his eyes around wildly for reprieve- for a way out. Manic blurs of picket fences and tended lawns smear his vision.*
*In a moment of almost supernatural clarity, his gaze settles on a pair of brilliantly glowing orbs in the distance hung low to the ground. The cat made no attempt to run to him, or away from him, utterly indifferent to his situation. It simply watched, the both of them locked in an instantaneous moment of recognition.*
*A maelstrom of emotions came over him; anger, embarrassment, incredulity… regret.*
*How silly his plight must have seemed to a house cat. He laughs to himself.*

Shouldn’t cops not use profanity or filler words? Clear commands would probably work out in everyone’s favor. ‘Get on the ground’ is unambiguous. ‘Get the f*** on the f***ing ground’ just adds noise when people are already panicking.
