    1. My AmStaff was watching last night. He didn’t care for the booms, but was watching intensely.

Such awe and wonder from the big doof head. Love to see it. I wonder how you would communicate with a deaf dog as an owner.

That deaf dog loves fireworks so much, he probably thinks the whole sky is throwing him a party. 🎆

    4. Going deaf was one of the best things to happen to my anxious dog, she went from a nervous wreck to sleeping peacefully through fireworks and thunderstorms.

    5. Nice. My dogs aren’t deaf but I played fireworks thunder, hoover sounds etc and hoovered around them from when they were a couple of weeks old so it doesn’t bother them.

However, their father, is terrible with loud noises.

    6. Aww bless him. Our pup is currently on heavy sedatives post-surgery so I don’t think he even noticed the fireworks last night.

    7. my husky that just passed the week before thanksgiving loved watching fireworks and she wasn’t deaf. I remember the first 4th of July I had her she was running like crazy back and forth in the yard trying to keep up with the neighbors as they were setting off the fireworks just to watch the show.

    8. Mine barks at them, and runs towards them.  Barks at lightning too.  Runs towards gunshots.

My dog’s quiet during them as they don’t bother him, but he’s a very loud barker.

    10. My cat isn’t deaf and he’s the same. Want to go outside or sits in the window watching.

    11. I have a dog now that does not get frightened at all by thunder or fireworks. It’s wild. He runs to the window to investigate every time like it’s any other sound. As far as I can tell, he has great hearing. He regularly hears things way before I do.

It’s so shocking to me after having a dog that would have a nervous breakdown each time.
