Setting aside the idea of deporting that many people from a civil rights stand point, this is absolutely insane even on a logistical level.
Moving that amount of people is almost twice, in terms of weight, the entire global shipping industry in a year.
Everyday, every cargo or passenger plane, train, and ship was filled with deportees leaving the US, for almost two straight years, that’s what it would take. And that’s assuming people can transport like boxes and things can, which obviously is not the case.
It’s almost 10x as many people moved as the entirety of the transatlantic slave trade which happened over 300 years.
