December 30, 2025Irena Bobowska (1920-1942) Polish poet and member of Polish resistance. Disabled since childhood, she was tortured and sentenced to death by Germans. Her last words were: “Today you judge me, but one day you will be judged by somebody higher”. She was guillotined. Poznań, Poland, 1938. [784×1024]
