The fact that South Africa didn’t collapse from all the villianous shit they did into a Civil War with Nukes is honestly a surprise to me. You think it would have erupted into yet another Africa eternal War.

Even President Ronald Reagan refused to sign the sanctions bill in 1986 only doing so after being handed a veto override.
Britain also looked the other way when Apartheid secret agents bombed Islington,London in 1982 which at the time was the centre of the Anti-Apartheid movement abroad.
