This is a perfect example of the fireman who starts the fire and then runs into the house and saves the people inside. Then gets the hero treatment. This asshole does this with everything.

This is why in Canada we’re taking it slow with the tariff negotiations, we still have cusma / usmca an every day this knucklehead keeps dragging out negotiations he gets closer to the midterms and our negotiating position straightens.
Also ordinary Canadians have made it a habit to avoid purchasing American products and produce. This has happened to such a great extent that most of our produce comes from Peru and other countries this year since the stuff from the US rotted on the shelves last year.
Keep an eye on the southern / California farmers. Assuming Canada is their biggest international market they’re going to be feeling at the end of this season.

Infinite price reduction trick
Raise tariffs and prices don’t go up
Reduce tariffs again to initial level and prices go down
