Republicans intentionally called the ACA “Obamacare” when railing against it knowing their voters would not understand that it’s the ACA and would automatically hate Obamacare because of the name since they hate Obama due to racism and want it repealed despite depending on it for healthcare because they think the ACA is something different.

You hate the Affordable Care Act because it’s Obamacare. I hate the affordable care act because it’s not the universal healthcare that pretty much every other first world country enjoys. We are not the same.
It’s fun to dunk on conservatives for not knowing the difference between the two, but don’t forget the democrats had the majority of the senate when it was passed. They could have pushed real universal healthcare instead
