    1. So he wishes to return to a time where conditions were so bad people left? Makes a few of their policy decisions make more sense…

    2. So with that moon logic we should be pro-immigration because the last 60 years had zero World Wars and the previous period had them.

I want an alternative historical novel where Stephen Miller’s mom swallowed.

    5. His language is always interesting “master” and “harness”, It’s always about being in control. Automobiles=Germany (Benz), Flight=France(Montgolfier),Moon Landing(UK,Aus etc were also integral). He appears to be wrong in most things he says.

Probably wants a gold medal everytime he cums first in bed as well.

If Miller got what he wanted, he wouldn’t exist. His grandparents would have been sent to the concentration camps and been executed.

We should write a book where white people do everything by themselves and it will be a fantasy!

Stephen Miller’s fantasies about history – are just as disturbing as his other fantasies.

    9. Henry Ford’s Father was Irish, born in County Cork. His mother was born in America to Belgian parents.

Both the Manhattan project and the moon landing relied heavily on immigrants and the children of immigrants.

If the US had been closed to immigrants during these times few, if any, of these events would have happened 1st in the US.

    10. America has been so great for so long precisely because so many of the most brilliant and ambitious people from elsewhere in the world wanted to come here if they could.

A generation ago some of the most brilliant kids in, say, Russia would want to come to a country like a America in part (it’s a lot of different factors) because they knew if they built something really successful at home there was a high likelihood it would get taken by the Tsar (yes, that technically isn’t the correct term anymore) or one of his boys. Nice business you have here, probably you should sell it to this guy for a tenth of what it’s worth or your kids might keep falling out of windows until you do. For all of its faults, that specific kind of brazen government corruption didn’t exist in America.

Now, who knows? Get the President’s family in on the deal and you can buy anything.

    11. He’s literally fantasizing about reliving the Great Depression and World War 2 which is why immigration got so low for a few decades.

    12. Yeah, Stevie, let’s keep going!

Massive innovations leading to the development of the Internet. And subsequent domination of said Internet

Invention of the smartphone, leading to its American creator company becoming one of the most valuable in the world.

Nonstop domination of the global entertainment market, including film, animation, and video games

Black American (specifically Hip Hop) culture spreading around the globe, building soft power in corners that would have otherwise resisted the US

US military and economic hegemony that is unmatched, ending only with the direct sabotage of your drooling moron of a boss

And all this while being a beacon for immigrants around the world looking to make a better life in one of the most liberated and wealthiest nations ever to exist. Immigrants have built all this, and will continue to build all this.

    13. Half the things he listed were not mastered first by Americans…. And the other half would not have been possible without people directly coming from immigration…

    14. Are we allowed to say, “Go Back to Belarus”? Or is that being too mean to Soviets?

*”Let me tell you a story about Stephen Miller and chain migration.*

*It begins at the turn of the 20th century, in a dirt-floor shack in the village of Antopol, a shtetl of subsistence farmers in what is now Belarus. Beset by violent anti-Jewish pogroms and forced childhood conscription in the Czar’s army, the patriarch of the shack, Wolf-Leib Glosser, fled a village where his forebears had lived for centuries and took his chances in America.*

*He set foot on Ellis Island on January 7, 1903, with $8 to his name.*

*Though fluent in Polish, Russian and Yiddish, he understood no English.*”

In a halfway decent world Miller would be screaming into the incel void on 4chan. In a marginally less shitty one he’d be at some institute trying to put an intellectual sheen on outright racism.

But we’re in this world, and he’s working in the White House, not even bothering to hide his white supremacist talking points.

      I mean, fuck.

    16. Always ironic to hear people like Nosferatu talking about immigration when his great grandparents were Russian who fled the pogroms to the US. I’m sure he’d love to move back to his homeland.

    17. Weird, my grandfather immigrated over and helped make all the equipment for the items he just mentioned.

    18. Kaffe-Mumriken on

      Imma ChatCheck that.

      > No — the United States did not have net negative immigration for the entire period from 1919 until 1969.
In fact, net immigration (more people entering the U.S. than leaving) was generally positive throughout most of the 20th century, even when overall immigration levels fell sharply.

    19. ChickenSpaceProgram on

The US led the world in scientific research for the past sixty years. Miller and his ilk threw that away because of their xenophobia and corporatism.

    20. This guy would never get anywhere near the White House if it wasn’t for this messed up regime. They have let the filth infest and rot our institutions from the inside and we will spend years undoing the damage they caused.
