Master Sergeant John C. Woods shows off his “knottology” skills to onlookers. He served as the executioner for those sentenced to death by the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg. Woods gained notoriety for botching several of the hangings, allegedly on purpose (Germany, 1946) [1104 x 786].
