    1. That’s a surprisingly simple way to do the task. Hats off to the person that invented this

    2. Accessibility that actually levels the playing field everyone deserves a strike chance, handle or holes.

I don’t think it retracts when it hits ground but rather on the release. Super cool though, great invention

    4. Social inclusion, that’s all, should be normal, not treated as an aberration and ridiculous. For the critics, a stroke in the future would be the least of their problems.

    5. Yeah they would easily kick my arse. 😅

I have full use of my arms and still get gutterballs.

I looked this up – it’s actually is very low tech!

The handle has a tight spring attached inside, and is designed to be in the “closed” position by default with the tightness of the spring.

When you pull it out, the spring stretches to allow it, but it wants to spring back to its default position as soon as you let go.

Basically, it acts like the nob on an old-school pinball table where you pull it but it always goes back to the table.

Here it is for sale if anyone is interested: https://www.bowlingindex.com/retractable-handle-bowling-ball.html

    7. I was thinking it maybe had a button on it to let go. I feel like that might give you more control over the ball as in this case you’re kind of restricted by the placement and geometry of the handle.

I haven’t bowled in over a decade so I’m no expert.
