This isn’t happening. The majority of private planes going to Miami fly into Opa Locka Executive or Miami Executive Airports. There some private planes that fly into MIA International Airport but use a separate (private) terminal. Private flight routes need to be requested and approved in advance. There are never cases that a private flight request would be approved that causes the cancellation of scheduled commercial flights, especially on one of the busiest travel days of the year. The cancellation of flights into Miami today are most likely weather and/or mechanical.
So far today, there has been 1 cancelled flight and 4 delayed flight from EWR-MIA, which is a pretty good day for Newark these days
