Mcdonalds in my opinion has really lost the plot, at least in my country, the saving grace back in the day was that it was cheap and not bad quantity, now the portions are smaller, its hellish expensive, and it really doesn’t taste very good, so why would I really want to go there?

McDonald’s in Italy has always been the fun cheap place you go for having a simple and fast meal .
I’ve always been out of standard eating one medium size menu and a second burgher.
Last time I’ve been in McDonald I’ve seen most of the teens there ordering two menus each because a large menu now has a very small burgher, 0,4 L drink and 80 grams of fries, spending almost 30€ each.
For comparison in a regular pizzeria you will spend 10/15€ for a big plates of fries for two( including onion rings,mozzarella sticks and olives ) roughly 10€ for your pizza and 6€ for the drinks, spending half of the money you will spend in McDonald’s .
