    1. Magic.

I mean if they can fly then they can keep them and Santa can be skinny, he just chooses to be fat. Mrs. Claus likes him big.

    2. Fun fact, this is likely a remnant from the original mythologies that all mushed together to form modern day christmas! We all know Christmas is based on pagan myths that were mixed into legends of Saint Nicholas and then appropriated by the catholic church and so on, and how it was originally a solstice event and all that.

Well, one of those myths is that of the mother reindeer, a mother (female) reindeer that keeps the suns light in her antlers and brings warmth back to the days, symbolizing the solstice and the moment the days start getting longer again. This myth later morphed into one of flying reindeer pulling a chariot with the sun in it, to symbolize the same thing. And finally, the chariot turned into a sleigh and the sun became Santa. Through all these changes the idea of a female reindeer persisted, which is pretty neat if you ask me.

    3. What if that was the reason all the other reindeer ostracized Rudolph was because his antlers didn’t fall off with all the other males? The other 8 have fairly androgynous names, perhaps Rudolph found a home with an accepting Santa and a group of female peers who accepted that he was somewhat feminine.

    4. Yeah and tomato’s and peppers don’t grow in winter and yet here we are with both whenever we want. See, with science we can grow things indoors if we need to.

These reindeer live in the north pole 24/7/365.25 and their biological make up is different based on an indeterminate period of time. They DO always have antlers when necessary no matter their sex. This is why Vixen and Donner both have antlers during Christmas season. You, silly billy.

Plus, Rudolph is actually a title! A title given the reindeer in the reserve crew pulled out and always trained in case a hard winter occurs. The original rudolph went down in history as the first true original Red Nose who helped Santa all those years ago.

Sheesh, I thought he was a brain man
