If it is white ink on black paper, it is quite cool. Black ink is just wasteful and does not render good

Light text on a dark background is also easier to read for someone who has vision issues.

    3. One of my favorite book was the same (Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas (The Favorite Book of Judas) by Bob Ong, published on 2003).

    4. Omg, I hate these. After reading and I look away, I see black shades with white bars in my vision for a while.

I know it’s a horrible waste of ink, but I’m convinced I’d read more physical books if they were dark mode irl.

(Yes I know apps for reading exist; tried a few, dont think it’s for me)

    6. Both white UV Ink and White toner rely heavily on Titanium Dioxide to give them their bright opaque white color.

    7. The premium hardcover edition of Brandon Sanderson’s *Isles of the Emberdark* does some interesting things here. For lack of a better term it takes place in two worlds, and the book is printed in white on black during chapters set on one world, and black on white during chapters set in the other. It’s a neat effect.

(Not recommended as a first Cosmere read, though. Most of his Cosmere standalones are pretty self-contained, but this one is… not).
