This is hilarious. I work in ediscovery (we collect, process, mine and produce document evidence for massive litigation). In litigation we usually produce a static image with redactions (no text layer) and then we provide an accompanying text file for each document. This text file is output in redacted format. In this instance, a non standard prod of apparently the native PDF with text was produced. It’s a massive error and one only idiots would make in such an obviously sensitive matter.

It’s hard to trust how low the bar of obvious action is during these times… so, hopefully this is a dumb question, but someone is documenting all of the “redacted” information that talks about the perpetrators right?
