Went to high school with a guy who got drunk and put a zip tie on his index and middle fingers of his right hand. Pulled it pretty tight. Instead of using the scissors in front of him to cut it off he decided to use a steak knife. Ended up filleting his fingers and later lost parts of both of them to gangrene. He became stubby from then on. Bet he wishes that zip tie had this sort of release. He leaned into it tho, instead of doing a fist bump he bumped nubs with people. Real nice guy, but had a room temperature IQ in a walk in freezer.
