    1. This picture summarize perfectly those few guys who just read a title didn’t read your post decription when you explained the problem and the solutions you tried and still type those same solution you just used and get angry at you if you pointed them out. I love how the overall opinion on reddit on other websites is “People who are very dumb but think they are the smartest amongs all the platforms” and it’s because people like them

      Google is free…and faster.

Than it directs you to a Reddit post with a similar question as yours from 3 years ago.

      With no answers

      Or

      Fixed it (no explenation)

    3. Using Google is faster heck even YouTube is faster than making a post on Reddit and waiting for a response

    4. To play Devil’s Advocate, Googling a question typically sends you to Reddit in the end anyway.

    5. If I find the answer on google in 5 sec I get angry. If it is complicated in a way you don’t can google it in 5 sec – I will give you a proper answer. I don’t want to waste time for people how don’t want to google and use this time for people who have a real problem.

      I’m the bad guy?

Gotta love when Google gives you a ton of entries of people all asking the same question, and 95% of the replies are sarcasm, idiots, or use Google hurfdurf.

    7. Yes, but Copilot lobotomized it and now 50% of the time it doesn’t tell you and 40% of the time it’s lying.

Not to mention, sometimes i don’t know the answer, and I’d have to google it to find it out

No dude, im not doing research for something you’re curious about, go have fun

    9. Imagine being stuck on a boss in a 10 year old game.

You google “how to be Meganox reddit”.

It leads to a reddit thread.

The top and only comment is: “google it”.

    10. It’s because sometimes people ask the most basic, googlable questions. They could have just taken 5 seconds to Google it instead of going on Reddit, clicking create post, write a title, write a body wait for replies etc.

Me when redditor answers me with “google is free”: Okay i’ll just use ChatGPT then.

And then the whole hell breaks loose and smugness is turned into a bloodthirsty rage lmao

    12. Tbf, people are demanding a source when you say a celebrity died.

I’m not doing that. Google it.

    13. GhostInABucketJar on

Repsond with the incorrect answer, watch how smug they are when they return to correct you lol.

    14. BadMuthaSchmucka on

Well at least make sure if you’re looking at the AI thing you click the little gray source link at the end

    15. People really do be asking easily searchable questions though

Or ask questions before even attempting to do anything simple by themselves like using a menu

When it’s something with a definite answer like “when was Keanu Reeves born?” Then yeah go google it, it will be quicker, easier and better for everyone.

If it’s opinions, discussions or just something to have a laugh at (memes) then reddit is the way to go.
