The modern conservative movement is nothing but people who are critically not self-aware. The party that claims to value freedom, personal responsibility, and meritocracy but are really just the dying gasps of an entitled group that are losing their grip in society. And I think they are only subconsciously aware of this fact which is why they are acting out like unstable children.
