    1. Was that what she was supposed to sing? I was listening to the radio broadcast live. Booed heavily then she angrily sang Bob Marley’s War

    2. He’s probably telling her that if they booed, you struck a nerve, and made them think if only for a second, which was your goal.

    3. He was way ahead of most artists when it came to politics.

He was a kind human being.

      He trained Blade

    4. The treatment she got was absolutely shameful. Her beliefs were ahead of her time, it just took a decade or two for the rest of society to come around.

    5. >”Don’t let the bastards get you down.”

      That’s what he said.

      >”I’m not down.”

      She replied.

      Gawdblessum both.

    6. To hear him tell the story, she wasn’t bothered. She was just letting them get it out of their system. Absolute legend.

And he was sent out by the organizers to get her off the stage, but he refused. Instead, he walked out and whispered to her, “Don’t let the bastards get you down.”

And her answer was something to the effect of “I’m not.”

He then left the stage, the people booing realized they weren’t going to get her off the stage, and she went into her first number.
