My dad and I found a dead raccoon in an abandoned barn, and her kit was trying to suckle. We brought him home and my family bottle-fed him. He was always allowed outside, but he bonded with our dogs so he stayed with us until 1990. He started to wander into the woods, and eventually went back to the wild.

    1. Man, I’m envious. My parents wouldn’t even let us have a cat or dog and they said it was because Jewish people aren’t allowed to have pets. And I actually believed that for years until I realized they just said that about absolutely anything they were worried would somehow cause them any kinda hassle.

    2. Yesterday i saw a post of a girl that said that racoons cannot be pets, what do you think about that?
