      Earth Before Algae probably looks like this.

      Without oxygen, our soils are red, but oxygen made the rust brown soil/clay abundant.

      that’s how legends are born! imagine being a sailor some century before now and experiencing a bloody hell sea, I would freak out and tell everyone some god was mad lol
