The curved wind instrument in this relief resembles a broader Eurasian tradition of ritual horns. In South Asia, a closely related form survives as the Ransingha, a curved horn used in ceremonial and martial-ritual processions. Double Flurte is called Algoza – another Punjabi folk instrument.
