We all know the "sharp decline" at the beginning of a weight loss journey eventually turns into a slower, steady grind. I've been in that steady phase for a bit, but today I decided to do a full measurement update.
I’m officially down 10.5 inches!!!!!!!!!
Biceps: -0.75"
Chest: -1.375"
Waist: -3.125"
Hips: -3.75"
Thighs: -1.5"
Sometimes we get so caught up in the gravity of our bodies that we forget to track the volume. I’m so glad I took that initial measurement… just wish I did it at my heaviest. It’s the biggest motivation boost I could have asked for today!

The scale lies!
I mean this genuinely because it might be the easiest tool to track your health, but it’s not a very good tool to know if you are in fact getting healthy

There’s just so many variables.
You may be losing fat without losing weight. Water retention from inflammation, high sodium foods, all give the impression of higher weight. At some point they flush out if you do a few things correctly and you suddenly see your true weight. It may then go up again as more water is retained and all the variables reappear.
Plus whatever calories you are on will become closer and closer to your maintenance, as you lose weight and thus that number of calories is no longer low enough to lose weight, so you have to drop down further.
