No one has been made gay by media but a lot of people have been found out they’re gay because of media and not only came out but started following their desires because of said media.

The whole “being gay is a choice” was started and promoted by closeted bisexual guys because for them, it was sort of true. It let them deny a part of themselves to avoid social stigma while simultaneously throwing gay people under the bus.
When there’s less social stigma you see how prevalent bisexuality actually is, just look at how many out bisexual women there are. Thankfully Gen Z and Alpha seem to be more accepting of gay guys and guys seem to be more comfortable experimenting with same-sex attraction.
Women experimenting in college has been a trope for 20 years, men should have the same acceptance.

I understand you can’t influence someone’s sexuality but people have opened up to their sexuality later in life due to some event that happened. Hell, my bestfriend didn’t fully realize she was bisexual until 7 years ago even though she had some lingering feelings all throughout childhood. Representation matters!

Let me tell you how I found out I was gay.
I pieced together the fact that I liked to hang around mostly boys, didn’t feel attracted to any girl my age, even the ones that kissed me, the fact that I spent the majority of our time in the store looking at the underwear packaging.
I didn’t have any interactions with anyone gay, nor did I consume any gay media outside of the occasional episode of Will and Grace. There are some environmental things that can contribute towards being gay, but having someone telling you how fun it is to he gay doesn’t dictate what you get aroused by.
