Good movie… great soundtrack with Leonard Cohen’s “The Future” and “Waiting For The Miracle” plus, lest we forget, an unexpectedly brilliant and indeed disturbing performance by (of all people!) Rodney Dangerfield.

Closest thing to a bad trip on film that I’ve ever seen

Woody Harrelson! I did not foresee him being the serious actor he’d turn out to be.

I doubt non gen exers understand that Woody Harrelson to us was “Woody” the naive, innocent country boy from Cheers. This film was absolutely INSANE on many levels, but Jesus, Woody as Mickey was totally crazy!
Well they perfectly capture the vibe of a creepy grooming relationship.

Kalifornia (1993) with JL is similar genre and worth a look

Woody Harrelson. Smallest dick I’ve ever seen on a man.

I hated this movie! The grape scene was too much for me.

This movie rocked. Woody and Juliet crushed it. RDJ was also a nut and nailed his role. The whole film as an indictment of the media was on point. Imagine this done now, with Social media to boot.

She’s one of those actors I just cannot see why she is cast in anything. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed her being in any movie I’ve seen her in.

My hot take about this movie:
Natural Born Killers deserves the accolades and obsession Pulp Fiction gets.
If I had to pick which one to watch it would be NBK nine times out of ten.

I fucking love this movie! And I never see people talking about it, Stone never mentioned it any of the times he was on Rogan(back when I could still bare to listen)
Probably the strongest third act of any movie in my book.

I have mixed feelings on this movie. The message is clear that the intent is to show how the media can glorify violence. But this film inspired a lot of school shooters and other psychopaths who watched this movie and thought it was something to emulate and that killing people would make them infamous.
