After the filming of The Lord of The Rings (2003), Viggo Mortensen bought a horse for a stunt double who had bonded closely with the horse but couldn’t afford to buy it. In return, she cared for the horse that Viggo had bought for himself after filming (his horse Brego from the movie) in New Zealand

I’m both incredibly happy there is record of all of the good shit that people do and also very sad because of everything going on in my country (USA). I remember seeing these movies and not feeling such immense weight of despair when I sit down and remember what is happening. I remember where I was sitting in which theater and feeling amazement and still feeling like there was stuff to look forward to.

Now I just worry about whether or not I’ll be able to afford food and stay home because getting anywhere where I live requires private transit even though we have so many people and cars that the city is bottlenecked every morning, afternoon, and evening because poor public planning doesnt include more mass transit. Or incentives for it.
