Gf made canabutter and didn’t close the garbage lid. Dog crawled into bed. Then early in the morning peed in the bed while we were all sleeping. Angry and not knowing what was going on i jumped up yelling. Dog looked scared but couldn’t move. When I tried to move her she shit all over the bed. Poor thing couldn’t control anything because she had gotten into the garbage and ate the leftover pot. So I totally understand not wanting to move the dog until absolutely necessary.

Oh man, my border collie got the heal of some special cinnamon bread one night and I didn’t know until she couldn’t stand up. Her head was laying in her food bowl (munchies). Sent me into an absolute panic until I pieced together what happened. We rode it out. She was fine.

Why do humans not get high from eating non-decarboxylated weed (I think that’s the right term) but dogs do? Is the dog even high, or just really sick?

My husky pup got to my edibles and thankfully only ate a single 20mg gummy but it was one of the most stressful and heartbreaking experiences.
Poor lil guy kept shaking and would jump at the slightest thing. Ears pinned back, constant whimpering and looked so scared.
Of course this happens in the middle of the night and our vet was closed. I was so scared and just held him while the wife looked up what to do.
He survived and all good now but now I have my stash put away and my office door is always closed.
