That time BBC News had to release the full video of their presenter “giving the middle finger” to prove she was only counting

    1. Give her full fair pass on this.

It’s like a doctor or a policeman – you have to have humour when your job is dealing with nasty shit. Even though she’s more separated from those examples by not having to see it.

If you’re about to say to a couple of million people “our main headline tonight, a man has been found guilty of the brutal murder of two infant children” in a deadly serious tone, then you need to separate that from your own life.

Standard UK bants really, only people from NA and other places seem to get affected by it

FunFact: The two finger salute is just as ‘offensive’ as the one finger salute in the UK.

I showed my butthole to the camera because the previous segment was about the importance of getting a colonoscopy.

      This clears up nothing.

    5. Everyone found it funny, she became a national treasure after this. There was no big outcry or upset, it’s all a laugh at the end of the day. Some people take life too seriously.

    6. How she was able to countdown before was amazing. Don’t mind the middle finger. It seems like a joke between her and the crew. Nothing burger here

    7. Hahaha 😆 honestly who gives a shit. People pearl clutching making a problem out of some fun. Every type of job has little jokes like this and people fucking around. Long as it dosent hurt anyone or prevent the work being done I don’t see a problem with it.
